Swagelok Filters: High-Performance Solutions for Reliable Fluid System Protection
Swagelok Filters
Filters are essential components in fluid system design, especially when media or fluids contain contaminants such as sediment, particles, water, or oil aerosols. These impurities can cause damage to critical system components, including valves, regulators, and analyzers
Filters are available in three main types:
-
Coalescing Filter – Designed to not only remove contaminants but also capture water and oil aerosols, ensuring cleaner fluid streams
-
Particulate Filter – Specially engineered to filter out solid contaminants such as dust, dirt, and debris. However, unlike coalescing filters, it does not remove moisture from the media
-
Ultrahigh-Purity Gas Filter – Designed for applications requiring extremely high purity levels, removing particles down to 0.03 microns with 99.9999999% efficiency. Ideal for analyzer systems and the semiconductor industry

Coalescing Filters
Designed to efficiently filter air and gas streams, these coalescing filters remove liquid aerosols, water, and oil to protect sensitive equipment
Particulate Filters
Efficiently filters dust, dirt, and rust from liquids and gases. Features replaceable elements for easy maintenance and minimal pressure drop
Ultrahigh-Purity Gas Filters
Designed for high-purity environments, this filtration system operates at high flow rates and pressures using a high-purity alumina element with 316L stainless steel housing
Spare Parts and Accessories
Ensure your filtration systems' efficiency and longevity with our high-quality, precision-made replacement parts and accessories
In addition to Coalescing and Particulate filters, Swagelok has designed a variety of filter types to suit installation and operational needs. These can be divided into three main designs:
Weld Inline Filter – A compact filter with welded body connections, ideal for installation in confined spaces
Tee Type Filter – A T-shaped filter designed for easy element replacement. Simply rotate the bottom cap to remove and replace the filter without removing the body from the system
Inline Filter – A straight-through filter design. This type has the advantage of lower flow impact compared to Tee Type, but requires the body to be removed from the system for filter replacement
